Run a lead source audit in an afternoon.

Before you can grow what works, you need to know where your customers come from. A practical checklist for mapping every lead source your business pays for or depends on.

List every way in

Write down every channel a customer can use to reach you: each phone number, the website form, online booking, chat, Google Business Profile, Local Services Ads, paid search, social, each marketplace and referrals.

Check what gets recorded

For each channel, ask whether a lead from it is recorded somewhere your team works from, and whether the source is recorded with it. Channels that fail either test are where opportunities and attribution are leaking.

Put cost next to each source

Add what each source costs per month. You now have the beginning of a view that connects spend to leads. The next step is connecting those leads to booked jobs and revenue.

See every opportunity, every job and every dollar in one place.

Thirty minutes on your own calls, leads and marketing. You leave knowing exactly where your business is leaking.
